Before Clara Hill focuses on the completion of her album, and Miramode busily works on the current EP there is once the last concert with Clara on 10th november at B-Flat - Berlin - Mitte.

In October, we will be playing a small concert series, with a set of concerts in Halle/S., Berlin and Hamburg. At the concert in Berlin we are looking forward to very special guests. We will again perform some songs with Clara Hill, and are especially pleased to add the guys from Feindrehstar. A jam session is planned with two bands. It will be interesting and for sure a very full stage! :-)

I’m glad to announce a new concert project:
In the first half of 2011 we are going to work together with the Berlin based singer Clara Hill.
We will play several concerts with her and take part in her actual album production.
The first show together with Clara will be in March ’25 at the HBC in Berlin.

After our rehearsals last week we played our first two concerts in Halle and Berlin.
All of them were filmed. Therefore we are working on a video, which will be to show online as soon as possible.

The work for the new EP “Movin” is already finished.
I am happy to say that we have worked for so long; a whole entire week of recordings where we had 15 musicians in the studio, lots of night sessions for cutting and mixing, and an extra long mixing weekend at studio wong.
At this point I want to thank all musicians and singers for their great contribution to our good work. Many thanks to Hall(e) Jochen for your support, (all that fu...ing cut-slip-mix-shit, only for a clean kitchen) and to wenter for all that gfx-stuff.
Now we start working to bring it on stage.

Mira Mode is an emerging collective of young musicians teaming with the Berlin based saxophonist and music composer Ede Merkel.
The Mira Mode band counts twelve musicians; three brass-, five strings players and an entire rhythm section. Together they introduce an urban mix of genre spanning acoustic sound. Electronic influences are clearly audible, yet jazz, pop, funk and hiphop based grooves provide the breeding ground on which the spaciously arranged Songs of Mira Mode unfold.
In various concerts, Miramode has featured a variety of vocalists from the Berlin scene.
